Second Year High School.
I sent a message to my close friends (who were my classmates too) with the news that I had an accident, I was in the ICU and I’m soliciting prayers because of a 50-50 chance of survival. Phone calls started to come, but, of course, I didn’t answer any of them. They even called my mom. Good thing, her phone was with me that time. After a while, I decided to reveal that it’s only a joke. I received no response afterwards. Two days after, school’s recognition day. I went to the campus for something. There, I saw my friends. No one wants to talk to me. T.T
From then on, no more April foos’ jokes…
NAH!

Here’s another story:
College (though this isn’t an April Fool’s Day prank but happened during our summer breaks)
I always tell my friends that I have plans on moving to another school to study. I always send them text messages saying that my parents really want me to get out of UP because they cannot handle my expenses anymore.
There was this time, one of my blocmates called me and asked if I’m serious on leaving UP for another university. Evil me, I started making myself sound like crying and starting my “I really don’t want to leave but I cannot do anything about it.” act. Good thing, IT WORKED! She was like “Wag ka nang umiyak. Sabihin mo kaya sa parents mo na ayaw mong lumipat. Sabihin mo, sayang naman yung units mo. I-convince mo sila na wag ka nang palitatin.”. Consistent with my act, I made my way out of that conversation, leaving my poor blocmate really worried about her crybaby friend. Laughtrip!
But my liar self shall end her naughty acts so at the end of the story, I surprised my friends by appearing on the registration day to process my Form5.
Now I have decided to have no more tricks on April Fool’s Day.
Seriously…
